Jr. Cougars... Come Back Kids!!
The hockey season is still early but one thing has been proven multiple times already, if the Jr. Cougars are down don’t count them out.
This weekend the London Jr Knights (White) fell victim to the come back kids. After being down 2-0, 3-1, and 4-2 the Jr Cougars stormed back late in the third to capture the victory. On this night it was Jacob Black scoring on a forehand backhand deke in the final minutes to earn the win. Following the game the referee gave JB the game puck for his efforts.
The coaches gave Jaiden Simmons the puck of the game for his outstanding play and timely goal. Liam Keogh and Devon Bennewies also tallied for the Jr. Cougars.
This game was a hard fought battle from the opening face-off to the final buzzer. The win was even sweeter with the addition of cupcakes thanks to our terrific team manager who was celebrating her birthday.
