U11 A TEAM WITH STRONG SHOWING IN OAKVILLE
The Jr. Raiders U11 team had a great weekend at the Oakville Rangers Winter Classic, advancing to the final where they gave eventual champions Waterloo all they could handle.
The Jr. Raiders went 3 - 0 in the round robin, outscoring the opposition 15-4. A 4 - 1 semi-final win over host Oakville Rangers put the Jr. Raiders in the final against Waterloo. The Jr. Raiders pulled to within a goal early in the third period to put the pressure on Waterloo, but Waterloo was able to prevail 4 - 2.
